Whisper is a clever solution to identify calls that are coming through your number.
Whisper works by playing a short audio file as you answer the phone, before the call connects. You only hear the message and not the caller. Such whispers might have messages like 'Call from your tracking number' or 'Call for Sales.'
To get whisper running, follow the instructions in the video below.
Part One: Uploading the Audio File
Step 1: Click on 'Voice Messages' on the left-hand menu
Step 2: Click the blue Upload button
Step 3: Select your file, and give it a friendly name (NOTE: Files must be a standard 8khz Wave file).
Step 4: Click the green Upload button
Part Two: Adding the Whisper to a particular Pool
Step 1: Open up the Campaign and Pool of the numbers that you wish to add the whisper to
Step 2: Click the Voice Messages tab inside the Pool configuration window.
Step 3: Click the checkbox Enable Whisper
Step 4: Select your audio file from the drop-down box under Whisper]
Step 5: Click Save
That's it - your whisper is now setup!
